Maria Manousaki quartet στο “Λιακωτό”

Την Τετάρτη 9/5/2012 στις 21:00 στο καφέ “Λιακωτό” στο Βάμο, το κουαρτέτο της Μαρίας Μανουσάκη θα παρουσιάσει το Stefan Grappelli project.

Η Μαρία Μανουσάκη είναι απόφοιτος του Berklee College of Music. Έχει εμφανιστεί με διάφορα γκρουπ της σε όλο τον κόσμο (Madinat theatre Dubai, Perth Concert Hall Australia, Frank Sinatra venue Nea York, Mediterranean Olympic Games Pescara Italy κ.α.). Στην Ελλάδα έχει παίξει σε χώρους όπως το Μέγαρο Μουσικής, το Ζάππειο Μέγαρο, το θέατρο Badminton κ.α. Το 2008 κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο της cd με τίτλο From South to the Moon.
Το γκρουπ θα παρουσιάσει τη μουσική του βιρτουόζου βιολιστή Stephane Grappelli, με κομμάτια που αγαπήθηκαν και έχουν παιχτεί για δεκαετίες από
μουσικούς σε όλο τον κόσμο.

Τη Μαρία είχαμε πρόσφατα την ευκαιρία να την ακούσουμε στο “Λιακωτό”, όταν συνέπραξε επί σκηνής με το εξαιρετικό gypsy jazz trio “Diminuita”. Είσοδος 5 ευρώ.
On Wednesday 9/5/2012 at 21:00 at the art-cafe “Liakoto” in Vamos, the Maria Manousaki quartet will introduce the Stefan Grappelli project. Maria Manousaki has graduated of the Berklee College of Music. She has performed with several groups around the world (Madinat theatre Dubai, Perth Concert Hall Australia, Frank Sinatra venue New York, Mediterranean Olympic Games Peskara Italy and others). In Greece she has performed in venues like the Hall of Music Athens, Zappeion Hall Athens, Badminton theatre etc. In 2008 her first CD was out in the market, titled “From south to the moon”. The quartet will introduce the music of the great violin virtuoso Stefan Grappelli, whose music still is very popular among the audience and the musicians around the world.

We had recently the opportunity to enjoy Maria playing at “Liakoto”, when she had a small jam session with the brilliant gypsy jazz trio “Diminuita”.
